A Holiday from Real

Camp: the Final Frontier. Well, not really, but it was fun to say. So, in case you didn't know already, i love camp. I think camp is an awesome place and an awesome experience, but one thing kind of hits me every time i go to camp. It seems as though when you work at camp, your life is put on hold. It is as though you hit the pause button on your life and you go to camp for three months. After that three months, you hit play again and start right where you left off.

The funny part about all this is that everyone else that goes to camp with you does the same thing. When you are at camp, it seems as though nothing really stopped. It's only when you get back from camp that you realize you are in the same position you were when you left.

It's kind of a weird experience if you ask me. Camp always seems like a holiday from real.

as always,
rich

  1. True. I'm not sure how excited I am about that fact, but it is the truth of how summer camps work. I've noticed especially with paying bills, returning calls, and checking email, I seem to be a completely different person at camp.
